The Women Behind The Scenes

Meet Kendra Fairman, BS, DC

Hello!  I am a chiropractor by trade but a women's health advocate by passion.  I started Wise Women Natural Health Collective at the beginning of 2011.

But first let me tell you a little about my background.  I live in Homer City with my family.  My husband, two incredible girls and one old dog.  I love to learn, help, laugh and be surrounded by good company.

I studied chiropractic at Palmer College in Davenport, Iowa after receiving a bachelor's degree in general science.  I've attended many additional classes in functional nutrition through Dr. Janet Lang, well known and respected in her field.  I am specifically versed in women's hormones and the natural regulation thereof.

I love working with women and I'm excited to help young women not just 'survive' their journeys into adulthood but flourish!

Meet Tiffany Chan, E-RYT 500

Tiffany has been practicing Yoga and meditation since 1988. In 1995, she became a certified 200 hour level teacher at Kripalu and with Integrative Yoga Therapy in 1996 and has been teaching yoga in the Indiana area since then.  In March 2014, she completed her 500 hour certification at Kripalu.

She is very interested in bringing the healing power of Yoga to everybody so she teaches a wide spectrum of classes to serve the community. Her classes range from therapeutic to athletic.

Tiffany says that “Yoga has brought me health and an inner connection that has helped me at every stage of my life. My greatest satisfaction as a teacher is to see people take the skills they learn in class and apply it to enrich their everyday lives.  I am very excited for the opportunity to work with young women and share the power of yoga with them and see them shine in their own lives.”

Meet Alena Kupchella Gourley, MSW, CBE, PLRT

I feel that each decision I have made and each step I have taken in my life has led me to starting Celebrate Every Step and led me to my passion of helping people live an authentic, passionate, healthy life.  And especially to working with expectant mothers.

My undergraduate degree was in Biology/PreMed and my Master’s degree is in Social Work.  But within each of these degrees what you can’t see are the experiences I had, the people I met and the conversations that have led to each aspect of this company.

If you want to live more authentically, more naturally and move from “settling in to” life to thriving I can help you make these changes through increasing education of health matters, improving nutrition, detoxing your life and working through the obstacles that life can throw your way.
